Rozhledna Praděd

Praděd (1491.3 m) - is the fifth highest mountain in the Czech Republic and also the highest mountain in Moravia.

On top of the mountain is 162 meters high television transmitter with a restaurant, which also includes the observation tower of 162 meters, where a beautiful view of the surroundings Jeseníky, but also the distant peaks of the Beskidy Mountains, Krkonoš and at very favorable conditions can be viewed distant peaks of the High Tatras . On the observation deck 73 meters high can be accessed via express elevators.

Construction transmitters began in 1968 with the construction of a road to the top of Ovčárna Praděd. In 1969 the construction of its own and completely finished with the opening of the restaurant in 1983.

On top of the mountain is located Trojmezní boundary stone dating from 1721. It is decorated with a cross of the order of the Teutonic Knights, miter Wroclaw bishops and Zerotins lion emblem of Losiny gentry.
